I am 165 pounds, 32 years of age. I have brusing on the soles of my feet, It almost looks like a type of athlets foot with bruising. I am currenlty deployed to Afghanistan, so i do shower in public bathrooms, but i wear shower shoes, and shower twice a day. It is getting painfull to walk.
Hi. As per your case history of athletes foot, my treatment advice is - 1. Wear loose footwear and maintain good hygiene. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream and antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on affected skin. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine for itching. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
