Treatment For Dermatomyositis, Weakness And Pain Despite Steroid Medicines?
i was diagnosed with dermatomyositis in feb 2013.. i was first sent to a rheumatologist.. now i am seeing a neurologist.. i am also going to the MDA clinic here in charlotte,nc.. no one seems to really know anything about this disease. my muscle enzymes are now normal because of steroid treatment. But I am still extremely weak and in pain.. i need to find someone that knows this disease............ figures, just another way to get money.. pathetic

I really understand your problem and let me tell you that the Dermatomyositis is disease of unknown cause, the only treatment for this is, all immune suppressive medicines which I think you already taking it, beside this no any other treatment available, but with this treatment the disease remain under control, have nice day.
