Hi Paul, Since UTI has been ruled out, it is important to check for other causes of increased frequency of passing urine. These include prostate related problems, stones and bladder problems like over activity. Do you have pain while passing urine or otherwise? Did your urine test show any blood in urine? Do you have any fullness in abdomen? Detailed clinical examination including digital rectal examination, uroflowmetry with post void residual urine(to check the problems in voiding urine) and ultrasonogram of kidneys, ureter, bladder and prostate are part of the minimum evaluation required for you. I can guide you further once you get these information. Please mention your age and associated medical conditions when you get back to me. Wish you a speedy recovery, Dr. Raguram.
