Treatment For Itchy And Red Tear Behind Ear?
my wife has about a 1 inch skin tear behind her ear in the fold of her skin where it meets her head. It has been there for a couple of weeks now. She says it itches. Some areas of the tear appear to be more red in coloration. Some times it is crusty others oily

From history it seems that there might be having some local skin problem like dermatitis giving this problem.
due to not cleaning the part, deposition of crust and dust might produce this type of infection.
She might require one short course of antibiotic medicine.
Give her Benadryl pr cetrizine for itching as itching aggravates infection.
apply triple action cream for few days.
Ok and take care.
