Trouble Breathing When I Lay Down Both On Side And Back. Why Is This ?
I am having trouble breathing when I lay down both on my side and my back. I feel as though I am not able to catch my breath. It almost feels as though I have high blood pressure in my throat (sounds silly, but that's the only way I can really describe it.). I also woke up really tired this morning (and I got 7-8 hours of sleep WITH a CPAP).
Hello, I assume that you are already using a CPAP machine. It is given to patients who have sleep apnea. You may have Snoring also, daytime sleepiness and tiredness due to reduced O2 supply to the brain. Continue using a CPAP machine and find a convenient position for your sleep. Meanwhile consult a pulmonologist to find out what is the cause of sleep apnea (temporary obstruction of the air passage in the throat) and follow the Dr's advice. Along with the CPAP machine continue the tabs prescribed by them. Best wishes
