I took progesterone last year when I was on my periods and taking progesterone caused heavy bleeding to me.. I was taken to emergency.. Now my doc prescribed me to take it again with evatone 2 mg.. Is it safe to take ?

hi.. you are trying with IVF, and your doctor has prescribed progesterone.. you had bad past experience of using progesterone and heavy bleeding..then it was probably given to postpone periods for long time, leading to heavy withdrawl bleeding.. now you please follow the doctors advice as progesterone is required for the preparation of endometrial bed for recieving fertilized egg and its implantation.. wish you good health..
