Hello. You were using Methadone 20 mg for 5 years. You might have had a genuine reason (pain) to start with - 5 years back. Now you have no indication and decided to quit. The way you quit is 100% correct. Reducing from 20 mg to 15 mg then to 10 mg was almost easy for you. You are afraid of reducing it from 10mg to 5 mg. You know very well the initial pain while you were reducing from 20mg to 15 mg, later disappeared. Similarly if you get pain in future it will also disappear, because the pain is a false pain. Here's what you need is your will power to tide over this small problem. Understand that once you reach the 5 mg level, it will be very easy to give up altogether. You have worked so hard in your life to achieve this success. You are at the vantage point. Take a strong pace to accomplish the goal. Life throws so many pleasant things which you might not have considered. Come out of it and enjoy the real different world I pray god for that successful day All my best wishes
