Trying To Conceive. Delayed Period, Lower Abdominal Pressure. What Is It?
My husband and I are trying to concieve. I am 6 days late for my period ( and i m never late) and have taken a pregnancy test but with negative outcome. I don t seem to have any symptoms of pregnancy but today I can feel pressure in my lower abdomen where the uterus would be. Could it just be pre menstrual cramping? How long should I leave it before seeing my doctor is my period doesn t arrive soon?
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Periods can sometimes be delayed, for even a couple of weeks. If you do not get your periods in the next one week, make an appointment to see your doctor. Your doctor will do a blood test to make sure you are not pregnant. If the test is negative, your doctor may give you medication to bring on your periods.
Best wishes.
