Trying To Conceive. Had Implantation Bleeding. Spotting, No Cramps. Miscarriage?
My husband and have ttc for about 8 months now. I had my normal menstrual on july 2-5, 2012. On the july 30,2012 I had what I thought to be implantation bleeding . In august imdb my cycle was supposed to start (2-5) all I had was really light spotting. Today is august 28,2012 and I an having some sporting again but no cramps . Is this normal for pregnancy or a miscarriage?
Your symptoms suggest that you could be having either a disturbed cycle or threatened abortion. You have not mentioned if your pregnancy is diagnosed. I advice you to see an obstetrician for a checkup and a sonogram and further advice. The bleeding you had in July could be implantation bleeding, but it needs to be confirmed. Take care.

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine, Dr. Srividhya's Response
Hi, I would advice you to get an ultrasound done immediately. Spotting can happen during early weeks of pregnancy due impairment at the level implantation and placental development.Scan helps to determine whether bleeding is only external or internal also and also the fetal growth. It can be a normal pregnancy also, but clearly indicating that you have slightly higher chance of miscarriage compared to those who do not have bleeding. I would advise you to meet your gynecologist at the earliest and start on progesterone support.
