Trying To Conceive. Nausea, Headaches, Frequent Urination. Pregnancy Or Symptoms Of Periods?

Hi, we are trying to conceive. We had sex a day before ovulation due. I have regular periods so its due tomorrow. However I have had light cramps for past 8 days, headaches, nausea and lack of energy and the need to urinate. However today I have started getting period like cramps stronger and back ache. Does this mean my period due or could I be pregnant?

Hello Sarah,

From your description, the symptoms are unspecific and could really not signify any particular condition. You might have contracted an infection most likely a UTI or PID or others etc. It could be that you are pregnant and presenting with morning sickness. The only way to know of course what you specifically have is to get a doctor (preferably a gynobs) to examine you, run some lab tests (UPT, blood test, urinalysis etc) and provide you with appropriate treatment.
Hope this helps
