Hello,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.

Thanks for your query.
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.

First think we have to do is to differentiate whether you had implantation bleeding or normal spotting before menstruation.

Have you done Hormone pregnancy test to confirm the pregnancy?

Some women have the spotting just one week before the regular period.
This may misinterpreted as Implantation bleeding.
This may be due to Intermenstrual bleeding also.

Implantation bleeding typically occurs one week after the ovulation.
It is not a usual bleeding like menstrual bleeding.
It look like increased spotting.

Thus my advise is check Hormone pregnancy test and confirm whether the implantation occurred or not.

If the HPT is positive, then it may a failure of proper implantation.
There are many causes for implantation failure.
1. Improper implantation
2. Not well developed endometrium
3. Hormonal imbalance
4. immature egg, etc..

Please do HPT and confirm. Then consult your treating doctor for further management.

Hope this helps.
Please reply for further queries.
Wishing you good health.

Hi,
For implantation bleeding to happen, conception must occur. If pregnancy has been diagnosed and you are now seeing a period-like bleeding, you should suspect an inevitable abortion. Please get your pregnancy status assessed. If pregnancy can be excluded, the cause of the spotting could be attributed to hormones. Systemic infections can alter the hormonal pattern of the body and lead to menstrual disturbances. Hope your query has been clarified. Take care.
