Trying To Conceive , Had Sex When Ovulation Test Was Positive, Started Cramping, About To Get Periods. Help?
My husband and I are trying to have a baby. I used a ovulation test but it didn't work. we tried it again this month. I started my period on Oct.3rd and then I started doing ovulation test and followed the directions and has also kept tract of my body temperature. I got a positive for ovulation on the 16th. We had sex a few days before the 16th, then the 16th and 17th. today i started cramping really bad and am bloated. it feels like i am going to start my period and it has lasted for 3 hours and the cramps have gotten worse. could i be pregnant?

There is a high chance of pregnancy.
In this situation I would advise my patient to undergo Urine pregnancy test.
If positive then visit your obstetrician.
If negative repeat after 1 wk.
Serum Beta HCG test will detect the pregnancy within 48 hrs of fertilization.
