Tummy And Head Hurting With High Fever. Ibprophin Given.Can Only Drink. What To Do Now?

my 3yr old son is complaining about his tummy hurting and his head hurting and he has been running a fever from anywhere between 100.1 to 104.3. ibprophin has been breaking the fever and relievin, bg him of his pain but thats only for a couple of hours. and this has been going on since sunday night. plus he hasn't eatten anything since noon on monday, but will drink whatever you give him. im at a loss of what to do now

Hi,

Your son could be suffering from Sore throat since he has difficulty in eating solids .For fever continue giving him antipyretics like Ibuprofen or paracetamol.For tummy pain you could give him antacids.

I would advise you to get him examined by his doctor so that proper examination could be done and appropriate medications could be prescribed.As far as his diet is concerned give him soft diet ,soups and juices .
