Anesthesiologist 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.

From your query, i suspect that you may have benign thyroid noid nodule with cystic degeneration.

Because here, your ultrasound report shows Dystrophic calcification- It is a feature of benign thyroid nodule.

Microcalcifications are common in Thyroid cancer.
You do not have microcalcification.

But solid cystic lesion frequently seen in both benign and malignant thyroid nodules.

you do not have any hypervascularity or hemorrhagic lesion in thyroid.

It is better to wait till FNA report to decide whether it is benign or malignant.

Hope this helps.
Take care.

Radiologist Dr. Indu Kumar's  Response
Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

Your USG report suggests that there is abnormal lesion in thyroid gland which is partially solid and partially cystic with calcification within and also there is septations within means it is divided into compartment.
Lesion is not showing increased blood supply within.
FNAC can tell nature of lesion whether it is benign or malignant.
