Umbilical Hernia Recurred Again, Tore Where Mesh Was Sewn. Prescribed Percocet For Pain, Gurgling Noises. What To Do ?

i had an umbiblical hernia done on March 5 of this year. The surgeon put mesh on top and sewed it up. It came back within 6 weeks and now it is bigger than before I had surgery. It tore where the mesh was sewn. I weigh 300 lbs and I am 5'6". I have been to the hospital several times because the pain gets so bad I cannot take it. I where a binder but it does not help with the pain. I am in pain every day and I cannot take the pain. My general surgeon said there was nothing else he could do for me. He said I need a surgery with laproscopy and mesh needs to be put under it and not over it. I cannot find a surgeon that will operate. One because it was recent and they do not like to operate after somebody else and that I am over weight. I have been prescribed Percocet and that does not even touch the pain. It constantly sticks out and when I push it back in it makes gurgiling noises and of course pops back out. I cannot see being in pain for the rest of my life like this. I am 49 years old. Is there anything else that I can do?

HI
Thank for choosing HCM
I would like advise you that, first of all you try to reduce your weight, divide your meal in three parts, have fiber containing diet, drink plenty off water, away from depression, take sound sleep, no alcohol, no smoking, never eat in hurry be patience, use abdomen brace (umbilical) put extra packing over umbilical area, if you are lucky this practice could give permanent relief, but remember you need to fix the mesh first, or if possible remove it, Have nice Day.
