Unable To Lift Arms Past 90 Degree After Fracturing Humerous And Disocating The Shoulder 5 Mnths Back?

Hi I fell and dislocated my shoulder and fractured my humerus 5 months ago. I had a mua last week and I still can not lift my arm and my pt can not move my arm past 125 degrees. My doctor said he did move it all the way during the mua but the next day I was unable to.I have not lifted my arm past 90 degrees in 5 months. I have had 2 mri and they show no tears but I know something is very wrong. Help!!!

the condition you have developed is called muscle stiffness.Its very common in cases following shoulder/humerus reduction procedures as the shoulder joint is kept immobilised for a while.Taking joint supplements like glucosamine and diacerin on a daily basis along with calcium and working out ;physiotherapy would restore 90-95% range of motion.
