Unable To Pass Bowels, Stuck At One Spot. How To Reduce Constipation? Will Mountain Dew Help?

i am having a very hard time going to the bathroom where as before i havent! i have tried at least 3 to 4 times alone today to go and it just seems to stay stuck or staying in one spot and i can feel it with my finger (not trying to be nasty) where it is...its that close i need to go now its driving me insane i need help now!! what can i do to use the bathroom? does mountain dew help?

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.

For good bowel movements, you need to take high fiber diet and drink lot of fluids.
If you are constipated, you may consider taking fiber supplements like metamucil. And also increase your physical activity.

What you have now is fecal impaction. For relief, you can try bisacodyl suppository or mineral oil enema. If these are not effective, then manual evacuation should be done for which you need to go to a healthcare facility.
