Unbearable Pain, Bruising After Falling Down. Taking Panadol, Nurofen, Voltaren. Any Further Treatment?

I slipped a few days ago on tiles, landing on my back - winded myself and couldn't move for 24 hours, the pain got better, but since the bruising has started the pain is almost unbearable.... I am on holidays in Indonesia, and have been taking over the counter panadol, nurofen, voltaren tablets and a muscle relaxant as well as regular tiger balm rubs... Is there any thing else I can do? It is driving me crazy to waste my holiday!

Hi, thank you for your answer.

"Regular tiger balm rubs" !! hope it helps.

1st of all we need to role out fracture in lumbar spine as the pain is unbearable which could be due to broken vertebra in your back. this can be easily seen on simple x-ray of the affected area of your spine.

If no fracture seen and no radiating pain to legs then you can take Co-codamol and Voltarol but do not take Nurofen and Voltaren together as they may cause side effects on kidneys or stomach.
you can add Tramadol but this one needs prescription.
Try to be active as much as pain allows.

wish you speedy recovery
