Undergoing Frozen Embryo Transfer. Taking Progynova For Thick Endometrium. How Does Progynova Work?
I am undergoing frozen embryo transfer for teh second time . To increase the endometrial thickness dr. has prescibed Progynova 2 mg thrice a day .I got my period on 24th April and from 26th April I was put on progynova . Today I went fot the scan and the endometrial thickness is 6.7 mm . Told to come for the scan again on 6th May. Please let me know how much is the average thickness increase per day with progynova and is there any other method to increase the thickness as during last time was able to get the thickness of endometrium only up to 7.8 with progynova initially when I have undergone frozen embryo transfer.
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
If you get endometrial thickness of around 8 mm during ovulation that is sufficient.
So don't worry, you continue to take the tablets as recommended by your doctor.
After embryo transfer also you have to take progesterone pills for better implantation and maintenance of pregnancy.
Continue taking folic acid supplementation.
