Unhealed Red Glossed Slightly Raised Sore On Forearm, Scabbing Over, Peasized Lump Under The Skin On Opposite Arm, Unhealed. No Itching Or Pain. Reason?
Hi, I have a small red glossed sore on the forearm that is slightly raised and glossed......that will not heal....it hasn't grown and admittedly every time it scabs I pick at it...it doesn't hurt or itch but I just won't heal. When it scabs over it Lmost seems like there's pit deep in the middle that can be pulled out with be scab!
I Also have on my opposite arm....a pea sized lump under my skin that feels like a pime under neath. It also hasn't healed!
Hi welcome to healthcaremagic. Thanks for writing here. Both of your swellings seems to be sebaceous cysts.Since on one side you pick scab ,it seems to be secondarily infected. These cysts occur when there is blockage in oil secretary glands of our body. They are mostly free from any pain.At times they become inflamed or ruptured which can cause pain.Treatment for cysts is surgical removal. You can consult a surgeon or a dermatologist for this.Take care.
