Upper GI Shows A Red Spot On Stomach. All Scans Normal. Having White Spots At The Back Of Throat, Losing Weight. Diagnosis?
Our granddaughter is 16, she has had a GI problem for several months. Just with in the last 4 weeks she has been gravely ill and we have taken her to the hospital ER at least 16 times. She has had an uper GI done which showed a red spot on her stomach, she had a hyda scan done and a cat scan, sonogram done. These tests are not showing anything really. She cannot keep food down and is now giving up on eating anything. Her immune system is so bad that she has caught a virus and has white spots in the back of throat. She is on all kinds of medicine, she sees her family dr just this last monday. Please why can't they put her into a hospital and help her? What on earth is going on? She is 6ft tall and weighed 160 lbs now she weighs 148.
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern for your granddaughter, and I would like to say you that if the young person stops eating and the all the medical tests turns unremarkable then it maybe the functional problem and that need to seen by the psychiatrist instead of looking for some pathological reasons, I hope this advise will help you in taking decision have nice day.
