I am a diabetic for the past 6 years. Now i have a Urinary infection and My urine test shows results of Albumin as trace and Deposits are PUS Cells - 6-8 / HPF, EPI cells - 4-6?HPF, RBCS - 1-2/HPF. What does it means?
The pus cells-6-8/hpf, indicates infection of your urinary tract which needs to be treated with antibiotics prescribed by your physician. The other indices are Ok.But I would suggest you to consult with your doctor and do a Spot albumin/creatinine test to find out your kidney function, as diabetics are prone for kidney damage and need to do yearly test for assessing kidney function.
