Uti ascending to the bladder causes cystitis which is extremely painful and may come in waves causing a contraction kind of a feeling especially just after passing urine. In females Uti is quite common to recur. According to me first you should get a Urine routine and microscopy examination to rule out infection and if required should get a culture and senstivity for the same and then medication should be started for the infection depending on the senstivity of the organism. Meanwhile plenty of water to flush off the bacteria should be taken.
