Urine Painful, Anal Reddish. Use Siloderm To Prevent Infection?
Hellow doctor ,45 days old girl baby crying hard before and after passing urine . what might be the reason and please suggest remedies. Her anal is reddish and frequently we apply siloderm. Her stool and urine test negative for any infection. Any how my pediatrician asked to give her antibiotic for5 days to prevent any infection in the anal area

Infection in the urine is the probable cause and you are in the right line of treatment with antibiotics.
Anal redness usually occurs after an episode of loose stools. If not, local cause in the area needs to be looked for and treated.
