Vaginal Contraction, Took Medicines And It Stopped, However Started Again. Is This Is A Problem?

I am 39, I have a son that will soon be 3. When I was about 6 months pregnant I started have contractions (no pain just felt very tight) I took a pill and they would stop. That same contraction tight feeling is what I am feeling now, it occurs every day, and has for several weeks. No other symptoms, periods have been normal. Is this a getting older thing, or should I be concerned?

Hello ma'am and welcome.

The abdominal contractions or pain can be associated with premenopause, but we should not make such assumptions. Which is why it is best you schedule an appointment with your doctor who will conduct an elaborate examination to rule out all other possible causes.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
