Hi, i had an infection in my vagina after having sex what can be the cause of it

Infection and vaginal discharge are common problems.It is usually sexually transmitted from the partner.Sometimes, bacteria present in the cervix or vagina may cause infection too. Infection in vagina needs to be treated with antibiotics/antifungals for both partners as bacteria can move up the genital tract and cause pelvic infection.
