Vaginal Itching. Cultured, Normal Result, Waiting For Vulvar Biopsy. Taken Medication For Yeast Infection. Suggestions?

I've had vaginal itching since June 4th, was cultured on July 2nd and all test clear. A few days later saw discharge went to Urgent Care and diagnosed with yeast infection. Took two rx of Diflucan 5 days apart and still itching. Tried clotrimazole and betamethasone cream with no relief. Now trying Cortizone 10 and still no relief! Waiting on results of vulvar biopsy but worried about what happens if that's clear too?

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

It could be a recurrent fungal infection. you need to take antifungal treatment for 15 days. take antihistamines to reduce itching.
maintain good hygiene, wash your inner wears in hot water and sun dry.
keep area dry.
Get your blood sugar test done.
You can fallow your biopsy report.
Hope I answered your question. Consult your doctor for further examination and management.
Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take care.

Hi,
As you have diagnosed as a fungal infection, apply only anti-fungal cream locally.
Go for oral anti-fungal tablet like Flucanozole 150 mg once in a week for four weeks.
Keep local part clean, dry and airy.
Ok and take care.
