Hello Nikhil,
well i would first like you to take your wife to a gynecologist who will see the inside of her vagina and rule out any infection. If every thing is normal,I think your wife is experiencing dryness inside vagina and vagina lubricants can really help.Last but not the least it is better to have a foreplay before intercourse which would help her in making vaginal secretions that can naturally lubricate the vagina .
I dont think you have to worry much .
Have a happy married life.
Pain during intercourse can be due to inadequate lubrication. Treatment of inadequate lubrication include water-soluble lubricants (for use with condoms; other types of lubricants may damage condoms) or other substances such as vegetable oils. If arousal does not take place, more extensive foreplay might be needed during sexual relations.
Also due to inadequate lubrication cuts and abrasions can occur.
If your problem of painful intercourse does not settle with lubricants or condoms then you need to visit a gynecologist for a proper internal examination followed by ultrasound if required. This is to rule out diseases leading to painful intercourse like vaginal strictures (narrowed vagina), endometriosis, retroverted uterus and genital infections.
Take care.
