i had a Vaginal Discharge Culture and sensitivity test, and my results were: Specimen: Vaginal Swab Pus Cells: 1-2 RBCs: 2-3 Epithelial Cells: Many Trichomonas vaginalis: Nil Direct Examination (Gram Stain): Occasional pus cells, Many epithelial cells Culture.: Growth of normal flora i need to know if this is normal? and what does that mean?
Hello, Presence of pus cells indicates fungal infection . MAINTAIN CLEANLINESS. Rinse the affected area with betadine solution. Take medicines as per prescription. Visit a physician for further treatment. Hope this helps.
