Vaginal Thrush. No Help From Cymgen. Skipped Periods. HPT Negative. On Minesse As Birth Control. Help
Hi. I have been taking Cymgen 30mg for +-6 weeks. I have skipped a period, have done numerous pregnancy test and all are negative. My biggest problem however is vaginal thrush which I have been struggling with for the last 4 weeks and it is getting worse. I am 35 years old and have probably had thrush only 5 times in my entire life. I am desperate for help. I am using Minesse as a birth control method. What should I do? Is there anything that can take the thrush away? My husband is getting annoyed with the situation, due to the fact that I can infect him and then he can give it back to me. Please help!

You have to take complete course of oral anti fungal drug like terbinaforce or itraconazole.
Vaginal tablet containing tinidazole,zinc,lactobacillus,clotrimazole will be helpful.
According to me your husband should take azithromycin,secnidazole and fluconaole kit.
Take proper local care,wash that area properly with antiseptic soap or liquid,try to keep it dry,avoid tight undergarment.
Avoid sex till get complete cure.
Get examined by gynecologist for proper medical management.
Continue your birth control pill.
If it is recurrent then go for cbc,urine,fbs,ppbs,pap smear,usg investigations under guidance of your doctor.
