Varying Blood Pressure, Family History Of Cardiac Disease. Cause Of Fluctuation?
Hi, I am a 56 yo caucasian male. I have a varying blood pressure with no personal history of cardiac disease. I do however have a family history of cardiac disease on my maternal side. This morning it was 158/97. I just took it and it was 147/67. I realize my systolic pressure is elevated and at times so is my diastolic pressure. What could be the cause of such a variation?
Hi,BP fluctuations in a day are common.but i think you are having hypertension.Get yourself evaluated by a Physician thoroughly and if needed your Physician will advise you lifestyle modifications and possibly medications for hypertension. But do consult a Physician on priority.Take care..
