Visited Mountains. Developed Lumps In Legs. Red In Color & Solid. Spreading And Not Healing. Suggestions?
I was visiting the Smoky Mountains in TN for the last week of April. A couple of days after I returned home I developed lumps in my legs below the knee. They are red in color and solid. I comes from within. After several days the become sore like a bruise. They have not gone away and I continue to get more. now they are appearing just above my knees too. It looks horrible. My biggest concern is that it is spreading and none of the lumps are going away. The lumps are about the size of a penny or nickel. ???
Hi, You have visited, smoky mountains in T.N.in last week of april, two days latter developed lumps in the legs, below the knees. red and solid, then became sore, continued to get more. They appear to be due to ice burns, due to dead skin, and got infected. I advise to my patients with such symptoms antibiotics, combination of protiolytic and pain killers, and some antibiotic topical ointment, and refer to dermatologist. Thank you.
