Vitamin D Deficiency, On Weekly Dose, Weight Loss. Will The Levels Stay Up For The Next Year?

I found out through blood work that I was deficient in vitamin d so my dr put me on a weekly dose of 50,000 IU for 10 weeks. My levels came up and I feel better and am finally starting to lose some of the weight that I have put on. When I called for a refill, I was told to have a followup exam in a year and there would be no refills. Will the levels stay up for the next year?
