Vitiligo for the past 1 year very healthy man. help please Hi i am 35 years old very healthy male with no history of health problems and am suffering from vitiligo for about an year now.Initially is started as white spots on my penis which later spread to my balls and now the spots have appeared on my hands and palm.I am falling in depression as it is spreading. I am presently not taking any treatment for the same.I have heard that there is no cure for this skin disorder .Is this true ? If not can u suggest the treatment that really works ? i am more in favour of herbal and natural remedies. Please advice Thanx

my dear friend vitiligo is an auto immune disease and stress is a trigger for such diseases so don't get depressed;instead make yourself strong.It is true that there is less treatment but whatever is available it is to be continued for long time.it is not that there is no cure but if you want help in herbal medicine ;go to some expert who does herbal treatment properly & not to a quack.My opinion will be to go to a skin specialist follow his advice & simultaneously take your herbal medicine.

I can very well understand your plight. Can you please tell me how fast is your vitiligo spreading? have you got more than 5 new spots in the last one month? If yes, please consult a dermatologist near you. If not, use flutivate cream once daily on the white spots. If you want herbal treatment, I suggest you go to a reknowned Unani practitioner.

Thanks a lot doctor for ur advice. Yes the spots have spread and have increased in number since last one month on my hands.I had also read that there are some multivitamins that are beneficial.If yes can you name a few.Also there are these repigment tablets that come. Are they any good? Have hameopathic,ayurvedic and herbal medicines proved better results than the other treatments available for this skin disorder as i am confused as to which treatment to start with. Thanks.
