Warm Tingly Numbing Feeling After Taking Mestinon Tablet For Couple Of Years. Should I Change The Medication?

I have been on Mestinon 60 mg for 23 years. I take one tablet daily, however, I have the warm tingly numbing side effect which is getting worse. It is now all over my body and is very annoying. Not painful yet, just annoying. Is there something else I can take in place of the mestinon? I don't want to make my MG worse, but my wellness doctor suggested to change it if possible to see if the burning goes away.
Thank you,
Marcia

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. In my opinion you need to change the drug but for that you need to consult your treating doctor. First stop the drug you are using and find for the changes if your symptoms resolves then you can change to another drug or else you need to verify for the other causes giving you such type of symptoms. Thank you.
