The ingredients in doxepin are not equal to the ones that were in sinequan... What is missing in doxepin..the pills do not change the brain chemistry so that you can stop taking the doxepin after some months...I know because I used sinquan 14 yrs ago and it worked so that I could stop using it after some months..For 14 yrs I did not need the sinequan until a fear episode of not being able to breathe and then could not sleep again...I have been on doxepin now for about 7 yrs...It doesn t work the same as siniequan did...My doctor told me that they were not making money on sinequan so they stopped making it and only have the generic form which is doxepin...What are your thoughts on this? I had hoped to be able to stop taking the doxepin after some months that it would have worked as the sinequan did but to no avail I am still taking the doxepin...
