Was The HPT Done At The Right Time?
I'm 25 with irregular periods. Last period was 2/17/11. Had unprotected sex on 3/13/11. Having lower back and lower abdomen cramping for a week with no period. Pregnancy test came out neg. yesterday. Its been 36 days since last period. Did I test too early?

You should wait at least for ten more days and repeat the HPT and Ultrasound for confirmation, but there are fewer chances of you getting pregnant as you had unprotected sex in the end phase of the cycle, but I advise get the investigation done after ten days and consult a gynecologist for clinical examination.
