Watery Discharge, Swelling In Stomach, Painful While Lying Down. Had Endometrial Ablation 3 Weeks Ago. Suggestions?
I had endometrial ablation 3 weeks and 5 days ago. I still seem to have a watery discharge but for the past 2 nights my stomach has swelled up again as if I'm pregnant. I had this for about a week after the surgery. It is also very painful especially if I lie ony back. I am in holiday at the moment so I flew 3 weeks post op and had a vomitting bug a couple of days ago. Please help as I'm not sure what to do as I'm in a foreign country and I don't know if this is to be expected

after endometrial ablation you may have some side effects like:
-nausea
-cramps
-vaginal discharge which may be watery and some times mixed with blood.It will last for couple of days to 2weeks.It takes few days to 2 weeks for recovery.
And for swelling of your abdomen you must consult your doctor and have a scan.Actually mild abdominal bloating is common after surgery as it will be for atleast 2 weeks in some cases but in a secure way you must consult your doctor.Thank you.

I am afraid that if you have got some infection of endometrium. If you are having temperature and persistent symptoms you need to consult some local doctor immediately.
Meanwhile I advised you to take some antacids like
• Omeprazole 20 mg B.D
• Demperidone 10 mg three times in a day atleast 15 minutes before meal
You also take some antibiotics. I advised you the following
• Moxifloxacin 400 mg OD
• Azithromycin 250 mg OD for five days
• Metronidazole 400mg t.d.s
