Waxed Upperlip, Redness, Applied Ointments, Became Brown. Bruise, Scar?
i waxed my upper lip on sunday and i then put ice on it however it was red through out the rest of sunday and monday. however on monday i bought osiris avise recovery oil and vaseline with aloe vera and applied both twice. on tuesday morning the redness had gone down to a brownish colour. is it a bruise and will it scar?

Just apply a streoid based cream like mometasone two times in a day over affected area and avoid sun exposure. If your skin feels dry, use a good bland medicated moisturiser to soothe your skin. Its not a bruise and it will not scar. If in 4 or 5 days you dont get much response contact your dermatologist and next time be careful with your waxing session. Take care

Waxing upperlip can be painful if you dont stretch the underneath skin . It could be bruise mark that has turned brown. Kindly continue to apply the same. It will fade out & than disappear in few days.
