Weak, Sharp Pain In Right Chest Area. On Chlanazapam For Stress And On Previcid. Concerning?
Hi I take 0.25% chlanazapam for stress and anxiety and panic attacks. I took my second does at around 12PM today eastern time. I little while later a experienced a weak sharp pain in my ride chest area. I took another clanazapam at around 2:50pm eastern time but I was still getting those weak sharp chest pains on my right chest area. They last only a few seconds. I took also this morning a previcid and another pervicid at around 6:30PM this evening but it has not gotten ride of the weak sharp chest pain on my ride side of the second. What do you believe it could be and whats should I do? Thank you Lev brudnoy
Welcome to HCM.Most chest pains occur due to musculoskeletal causes rather than cardiac causes. However a ECG and other investigations to rule out potentially serious cardiac disease are mandatory in such cases.Such symptoms are commonly associated with generalised anxiety disorder and panic attacks.the opinion of a mental health specialist/psychiatrist with counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy and drugs would help eliminate the problem.SSRi's and antidepressants are the commonly used drugs for this.
