Weakness And Hunger Pangs After Eating, Diarrhea, Bloating. On Dixilant. History Of Gallbladder Removal. Any Ideas?

I had my gallbladder removed two years ago. I have an allergy to wheat ( not celiac, but anaphylactic allergy) i am finding it hard to maintain a satisfying and nutritious diet that promotes overall health. I suffer daily with diarrhea and bloating. I am currently taking dexilant as needed for reflux. Why do i feel weak and hunger pains after eating? I have had recent bloofwork which was normal for glucose and thyroid.

Hi,
From the history it appears to be post fatty intolerance which is a component of postcholecystectomy syndrome. For that you need to reduce your fat consumption for the time being.
The following medications may be useful.
1. Probiotics (Saccharomyces culture sachets).
2. Cholestyramine to reduce bloating and loose motions.
I hope this answers your doubt.
Regards
