Weakness In Bottom Portion Of Legs. Taking Medication. Anything To Worry?

hi......having trouble with weakness in bottom portion of my legs that comes and goes ( I say weakness because I don't know how else to describe the feeling. When I get this feeling I feel like I am going to pass out. .
I went to CentraCare today since I could not get in to see my Dr. and they are referring me to a neurologist.
I will be going out of town on Thurs for a few wks and am afraid I will not be able to take care of this.
I am on quite a few meds....among them Benicar, metoprolol, crestor, synthroid, buspirone and bupropion.
I am 62 yrs old.
Should I be real concerned at this time or can I wait?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
A weakness in the legs is suggestive of a nerve related pathology in the lower limbs. It may be due to a pathology in the lumbar spine. You must consult a neurologist without a delay.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
