Web Of Tongue Caught While Eating. Line Ripped Down Under The Tongue. Very Painful. Medication Required?

So. The other day I was eating, and it felt as if I got the web of my tongue caught. And it felt like something snapped. It was on the right side of my tongue. I didn't think much of it. Now 2 days later. I investigated a little more. And it looks as if it's one of them lines on the bottom of the tongue was half ripped down. It's not blue. Just red. And it looks as if white is coming out of the ending of it. I tugged on it. But it hurt like hell. My parents don't think it's hospital worthy. Please help!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, the other day you had a bite on the tongue, and it got infected now with the bacteria, and there is white thing and swelling.
I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I to my patients with such infection prescribe ofloxacin, ornidazole, and lactic acid bacilli. Thank you.

Dentist Dr. Yogesh Tripathi's  Response
hello
so you got your tongue bitten by your teeth
now the redness is due to injury to the blood vessels and the white thing coming out is pus discharge from the infected wound
now what i would suggest is that you can go to a dentist to get it confirmed
in the mean while you can do the following to help yourself out
1.oflomac -tz twice daily for 3days
2.any painkiller with serratiopeptidase twice daily for 3 days
3.omnacortil 10 mg twice daily for 3 days
4.luke warm saline rinse for 4-6 times daily
5.apply hexigel to the affected area
6.application of mucopain would reduce the pain while eating
hope that helps
