What Is The Gestational Sac?

i m 5week 2days preg,in ultrasound no sack is seen .
in 1st week my hcg was 22.6 on16th jan, 18th jan it was 35,20th jan it was 18.6 and 23rd jan it was 31.4.1
16dec. is my period date.
my iui was done on 2nd jan and i was resulted positive preg as my doc says.
my progestrone level was 9.45 on 23rd jan.
i m very anxious what it is ?please guide me in a right way.

Hi, thanks for writing..
Usually in a healthy pregnancy there will be doubling time.. But this is not seen here.. So it is unlikely to be a healthy growing pregnancy.. Get a scan done after 1 week to see for any sac or any ectopic gestation.. Also get a hcg repeated at that time.. If it is a growing pregnancy, sac will be seen.. if it is absence, it would be better to take pills for termination of pregnancy.. hope i have answered your query.. good day..
