What All Precautions Do I Need To Take After Ligament Tear?

Hi ,i have got ligament tear and my doctor said that i have to be on bed rest for atleast 3 weeks. I am a teacher and is involved in standing activities and also cant take so many leaves so can i join back my school after 1 week only. what all precautions do i need to take?

Hello,
I have studied your case and I think you need to take proper rest and splint. If you start walking or putting weight so early then you may damage your ligament and it can cause further harm. So I would suggest you to meet with your doctor and asked him to give you brace or splint so that you will be able to walk with that.
