What Alternative Product Can Be Given To Child Other Than Mothers Milk?

My son is lactose intolerant I guess. He had vomited and had diarrhea three times in two months when we tried different formula milk and cerelac. What alternative product can be given to him other than mothers milk? He is six months old now. Also, what test can we perform to find out whether he is lactose intolerant?

lactose intolerance is seen in a select population of babies, usually seen upto 3 years and resolves slowly by then. try giving curds, rice gruel, fruits slowly and build a variety of foods which the baby will tolerate. introduce one food at a time and give it for a week. then note wether he tolerates it and then go to next food. still if does not tolerate milk then you can give zerolac.
