What Are Benefits And Side Effects Of Ovares -SR?

Hi doctor...... I have tried to concieve for three months aftr 1 year and 9 months of marriage and then when it was negative we consulted the doctor and she told that we should have patience and she prrscribed folic acid and ovares sr tablets and within one month i got pregnent but it turn into a miscarriage after seven weeks while all my tests after miscarriage were normal so there seems no reason of it n another doctor advised me to start taking folic acid tablets again so now i doubt whether i should take ovares sr again or not....basically i want to know pros and cons of ovares sr and its uses. Please help.

Ovaries - SR contain dihydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) and folic acid. DHEA is a “hormone” naturally made in the body by the adrenal glands near the kidneys and by the liver. DHEA helps to make male and female sex hormones within the body.

DHEA levels seem to go down as people get older. DHEA levels seem to be lower in people with depression, postmenopausal women and many other conditions. Some research shows that taking DHEA for 2 months or 3 months before in vitro fertilization (IVF) might improve the chances of pregnancy.

Other research shows that DHEA does not improve the chances of pregnancy with IVF or natural conception. But it still have many uses. It is contraindicated in prostate problems, hypercholesterolemia, cardiac problem or hypertension patients.
