What Are Chances Of Pregnancy After Consuming Unwanted 72 Pill?

Hi Sir, Thanks for adding me. Me and my GF had sex on 19th of this month, after her period started on 06th.But she took unwanted 72 within an hour of intercourse, even though we have a doubt whether I release inside or not. But now the problem is that till today her period not started, not even for a day or so. So, we are very much tensed about the possibility of pregnancy. Please help us to solve this issue.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
According to your girlfriend's last menstrual period, you had intercourse around her period of ovulation.
But as she took the emergency pill within one hour of the intercourse, the possibility of pregnancy is less.
Emergency contraceptive pill can alter the menstrual cycle because of high dose of hormone it contains.

If her periods are delayed for more than one week, better to go for urine pregnancy test.
If the test gives negative result, better to wait for one more week.
Possibly by that time she will get periods.
If she doesn't get periods even after one week, consult gynecologist once and take tablets to induce withdrawal bleeding.
