Hello sir and welcome.

I am guessing you have provided your partner with an emergency contraceptive pill (eg. ipill). If taken within 48 hours of unprotected sexual intercourse, it provides 85% protection from conception. This is a good percentage, but still not full proof.

At times, due to the consumption of this pill some women experience a delay in theit period as a side effect and not because of pregnancy. So please conduct a home pregnancy test using an early morning urine sample at least 2 weeks after the last date of unprotected sexual contact.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
