What Are Directions For Using Unwanted Kit For Abortion?
Hi, I m 26 years my last period was 11th september, now i miss the period and UPT test is positive, kindly cordinate i can take Unwanted kit and if yes then what will be the exact procedure to take the kit. I also mention the point that Unwanted kit containing 1 tab of mefigest and 4 tab of mesoprostol.Thanks Arti

Unwanted 72 is medicine for protecting against the pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse. These pills need to be taken ideally within 24 hours but not later than 72 hours to protect the pregnancy. These pills do not terminate the pregnancy and hence are of no use once the pregnancy is diagnosed.
For confirmed pregnancy, you may opt for medical termination of pregnancy. Tab. Mifepristone and Tab. Misoprostol is a good combination for terminating the pregnancy up to 9 weeks of gestation. However, these are prescription pills and should be taken only with Obstetrician's advice and prescription. Usually they effect termination within 24 hours but may be delayed upto 72 hours.
These medicines cause developmental errors in baby. Hence, in case of their failure to abort, the pregnancy should be terminated by surgical method like MVA aspiration or so.
Please report to Ob-Gyn specialist without wasting time.
